Polyglycerol-based hydrogels and nanogels: from synthesis to applications

چکیده
Hydrogels and nanogels have emerged as promising materials for biomedical applications owing to their large surface area tunable mechanical chemical properties. Their is well suited bioconjugation, whilst the interior porous network can be utilized transport of valuable biomolecules. The use biocompatible hydrophilic building blocks/linkers preparation hydrogels not only avoids undesired side effects within biological system, but also retains high water content, thereby creating an environment which very similar extracellular matrix. multivalency hydrophilicity excellent biocompatibility, together with ease functionalization, makes polyglycerol macromonomers synthesizing cross-linked networks that used matrix mimics. Here we provide overview synthesis polyglycerol-based various applications.
